About Us
FLINSO is a registered charity (Charity number: 508156), started some thirty years ago, with the aim of supporting four Lincoln-based music groups and their conductors; a jazz band, a concert band, an orchestra and a string ensemble. FLINSO offers support by arranging fund-raising concerts, offering the conductors help with their requirements such as sheet music, and arranging occasional tours. These are happy, thriving, musical groups, evident to anyone having the pleasure of seeing them perform to such a high musical standard. Each offers a different musical experience, and if you are a young person who plays a musical instrument, and might be interested in joining one of the groups, please get in touch with us.
